Aloe vera
Aloe vera is an evergreen perennial, originating from the Arabian Peninsula, but grows wild in tropical, semi-tropical, and arid climates around the world. Stemless or very short-stemmed with thick, greenish, fleshy leaves that fan out from the plant’s central stem. The margin of the leaf is serrated with small teeth. Aloe vera is an ornamental plant and popular as a medicinal plant as well as and for flowers, form, and succulence. Able to survive in low natural rainfall, making it ideal for rockeries and other low water-use garden. Good also in pots. Used in large scale production for cosmetic industry.
